The San Luis Obispo Coast is a special place for white wines. I truly believe it should be in the broader conversation as one of the great wine white regions of the world. We source grapes from vineyards anywhere from 2 to 5 miles from the Pacific Ocean. The region’s maritime influenced extreme cool-climate and diverse volcanic and oceanic soils allow the incredible opportunity to showcase white wines filled with vibrant energy, minerality, and a whole lot of individual character. Our region is the single coolest growing region in all of California. This results in one of the longest, if not, the single longest growing season on the West Coast. That long growing season allows us to get the best of both worlds …. slowly ripened fruit full of flavor all while preserving the natural acidity that defines the Cadre wines. 

AROMATICS

This wine is all about bringing together an aromatic highlight reel of all three varietals. It’s a floral dynamic mix of herbal salinity, citrus and island tropical fruits. You can smell the nearby Pacific in this wine. It’s backed by aromatics of salty grapefruit, fleshy Hawaiian breakfast fruits with a touch of green herbal notes. There is a lot of going here. A beautiful combo of white flowers, fruit, saline and savory herbs.

PALATE

Our stranger shines on the palate. There is a mouthwatering collection of exotic spice, salty citrus and ripe fleshy tropical fruit righteousness. Specifically, you will find salty Meyer lemon, tangy grapefruit, ripe peach, melon and minerality. There is a great balance of energy and fruit. You won’t find another blend like this on this planet. It’s beautifully strange and full of next level goodness!
